Dictionary of British Scientific Instruments

This dictionary gives brief descriptions with illustrations of the scientific instruments manufactured and sold by members of the British Optical Instrument Manufacturers' Association. During the war great strides have been made by British Manufacturers and there is now hardly any instrument that cannot be obtained from an English source just as satisfactorily as from foreign makers. The catalogue does not give details of prices, but these can easily be had from the makers, whose names and addresses are given.
